“Staff provide children with a range of opportunities to practise their physical skills. Staff promote children’s understanding of healthy eating successfully. Children eat balanced, organic meals. Staff give children choices and follow their requests. For example, children choose to eat snack outside in the den. Staff sensitively manage hygiene and care routines for the youngest children. They help older children learn to manage their personal care.”
